2011 Ground School

The Adirondack Soaring Club, Inc. (ADK) is announcing the 2011 Annual Glider Pilot Ground School

This years Ground School will again be held at the Clifton Park/ Halfmoon Emergency Corporation in Clifton Park, New York. Course will run from 8:00 a.m. (Sharp) to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March XXth and Sunday March XX st 2011.

- This training fulfils FAA requirements and prepares each Student for the FAA Glider Pilot written exam - Non-club members will be required to pay a $30.00 Registration fee at a time of registration and insures that you are serious and holds your spot. Materials will be provided vai PDF File and will need to be downloaded prior to attending class.

  • Intent: To provide the student with the requisite knowledge to successfully pass the FAA Private Pilot-Glider Written Examination. Also, to provide public familiarization with Sailplanes.

· Current New York sectional With the exception of the New York sectional (North American Flight Services, Saratoga County Airport has copies)
